Windows are the first thing anyone notices about a building and the easiest thing to let slide. We clean glass inside and out, on a schedule, for commercial premises and homes across Exeter and Devon.
Clean glass changes how a building reads from the street more than almost anything else you can spend money on. It is also the job most likely to be put off, because it needs equipment and access rather than a cloth.
We use pure water pole systems for external glass, which reaches height safely from the ground and leaves no detergent residue behind — which is what causes glass to re-soil quickly after a traditional clean.
Internal glass, partitions and glazed doors are done as part of commercial contracts, usually out of hours, along with frames and sills.
How we do it

Most commercial glass goes on a regular round — monthly, six-weekly or quarterly — so it simply happens rather than needing to be remembered.

What is pure water pole cleaning?
Water with the minerals filtered out, fed up a telescopic pole to a brush at the glass. Because the water is pure it dries without leaving spots or streaks, and because no detergent is used there is no residue for dirt to stick to — so the glass stays cleaner for longer than after a traditional soap-and-squeegee clean. It also means we reach upper floors from the ground, which is considerably safer than ladders against a building.
How often should commercial windows be cleaned?
Most commercial premises settle on monthly or six-weekly. Retail frontage and anything on a busy road wants doing more often, because traffic film builds quickly and shop glass is the first impression a customer gets. Offices set back from the road can often go quarterly. We will suggest an interval based on what we see rather than sell you the most frequent option.
Do you clean inside as well?
Yes. Internal glass, partitions, glazed doors and reception screens are usually done as part of a commercial contract and out of hours, so nobody is working around us. For most buildings internal glass needs doing less often than external, so it tends to sit on a longer cycle.
What happens if it rains?
Rain alone does not dirty properly cleaned glass — what marks windows is the dirt rain carries off a frame or a sill, which is why we clean those too. If weather makes it genuinely unsafe, particularly wind at height, we will reschedule rather than take chances with poles near a building.
Can you reach high windows?
Pure water poles reach several storeys from ground level, which covers the large majority of commercial buildings in Exeter. Above that, or where access is genuinely awkward, we will tell you what the job actually needs rather than improvising something unsafe.
Do you do domestic window cleaning?
Yes, alongside commercial rounds. Most domestic customers are on a regular cycle, and frames, sills and doors are included rather than charged as extras. If you already have us for house cleaning it can be scheduled together.
